Education and advocacy to improve ethics, standards, and practices in paleontology
1. Key Responsibilities
a. Seek input from the Board on the needs for each election cycle.
b. Establish a timeline for the election cycle and determine a voting platform that
best fits the needs of the Association.
c. Solicit nominations, vet candidates, and inform nominees of their placement on
d. Report the election results once they have been tabulated to the Board.
2. Expected time commitment
a. Committee members will spend an average of 1-2 hours per month, with an
increase up to 4 hours per month during the election season.
b. The committee shall maintain a calendar of events associated with Annual
Election of the Board.

a. Committee members should be prepared for the time commitment associated
